Ingredients

  • 7-8 medium size Potato
  • 2 tbsp rest for deep frying Vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Fennel seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Nigella seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1/2 bunch Coriander leaves
  • 10-12 cloves Garlic
  • 3-4 Green chili
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 cup Chickpea flour
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to make batter Water

Instructions

  • Keep all the ingredients ready for Aloo vada.
  • In a mixing bowl, grate the potatoes.
  • Grind green chili, garlic and coriander leaves to make paste.
  • Green paste is ready, keep it aside
  • In a pan, heat oil and temper with cumin, fennel, nigella and mustard seeds. Saute for a second.
  • Add onion and fry till it is translucent in color.
  • Add turmeric powder, red chili powder and ground chili paste. Saute for 30 seonds.
  • Add salt.
  • Add grated potato and mix it well.
  • Stuffing is ready.
  • Make the lemon sized ball from the mixture. Keep is aside.
  • In a separate bowl, add chickpea flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Add water and make a lumps free batter to the balls. Batter consistency should be like pouring.
  • The batter is ready.
  • Put 2-3 balls in the batter and coat it well with the batter.
  • Put the coated balls in the hot oil and deep fry it on a medium to low flame till it is golden and crisp.
  • Deep fry 4-5 at a time.
  • Take out the fried aloo vada on a tissue paper to get rid of the extra oil. Do the same with the rest of the dough. Serve hot with your favourite sauce.

Steps

Keep all the ingredients ready for Aloo vada.

In a mixing bowl, grate the potatoes.

Grind green chili, garlic and coriander leave to make a paste.

The green paste is ready, keep it aside

In a pan, heat oil and temper with cumin, fennel, nigella, and mustard seeds. Saute for a second.

Add onion and fry till it is translucent in color.

Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and ground chili paste. Saute for 30 seconds.

Add salt.

Add grated potato and mix it well.

Stuffing is ready.

Make the lemon sized ball from the mixture. Keep it aside.

In a separate bowl, add chickpea flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Add water and make a lumps free batter to the balls. Batter consistency should be like pouring.

Put 2-3 balls in the batter and coat it well with the batter.

Put the coated balls in the hot oil and deep fry it on a medium to low flame till it is golden and crisp.

  • 1 diced Onion
  • 4 Green chili chopped
  • 4 Cashew nuts
  • 1 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Pepper powder
  • 2 tsp Fenugreek leaves
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped Coriander leaves
  • 2 chopped Onions
  • 1 cube for smoky flavour Charcoal
  • 1/2 kg Chicken washed

Instructions

  • Clean and wash chicken. In a mixing bowl, add washed chicken, curd,1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste, 1/2 tsp fenugreek leaves, 1/2 tsp pepper powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala powder, 1/4 tsp cumin powder and salt. Mix it well. Keep in the fridge for 3-4 hours.
  • Keep all the ingredients ready for gravy.
  • In a wok, add 200 ml water, cashew nuts and diced onion.
  • Let it boil for 5 minutes. Switch off the flame. Strain it usinga strainer and let it cool at the room temperature.
  • Grind the boiled onion and cashew nuts to make paste. Keep it aside.
  • In a wok, heat 2 tbsp oil and add marinated chicken. Fry it on a medium flame till oil shows separately.
  • Keep stirring while frying it avoid sticking to the wok. Chicken is fried and keep it aside.
  • In a different wok, heat oil and add onion. fry it till it is light golden in color.
  • Add chopped green chili.
  • Add ground onion-cashew nuts paste. Mix it well and cook it on a medium to low flame. Add pepper powder, ginger-garlic paste, salt, and cumin powder. Mix it well. Cook it till oil shows separately.
  • Add fenugreek leaves.
  • Add fried chicken, mix it well.
  • Add chopped coriander leaves.
  • Mix it well, add 1 cup water.

Add fenugreek leaves.

Add fried chicken, mix it well.

Add chopped coriander leaves.

Mix it well, add 1 cup water.

Cook covered on a low flame for 10-12 minutes or till the chicken cooked properly. switch off the flame. Put the aluminum bowl in the wok, add burnt charcoal in the bowl and pour 1 tsp ghee on it. Cover the wok immediately to absorbs the essence of coal. Remove charcoal after 30 seconds. Delicious pepper chicken is ready to serve.

Serve hot with Butter Naan or chapatti.

  • Add milk and cook it on a medium flame till the milk dries up.
  • Add sugar, mix it well.
  • Cook it on a medium heat till the carrot dries up completely . Keep stirring in between the cooking.
  • Add khoya/Mava, mix it well. Cook it for another 1-2 minutes. Add chopped dry fruits.
  • Switch off the flame. Delicious Gajar Halva is ready to serve. Serve hot.

  • 1 tsp Khus-khus
  • 1/4 of a piece Nutmeg
  • 1/2 Mace

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, add washed chicken.
  • Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste and salt.
  • Mix and keep it aside for 2 hours for marination.
  • Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok, add marinated chicken.
  • Fry the chicken for 3-4 minutes on a medium flame. Switch off the flame, keep it aside.
  • In a pressure cooker, add mustard oil. Let it smoke or till the raw flavor goes from the oil. Add sliced onion.
  • Add bay leaf and cinnamon stick. Fry the onions till they are translucent in color.
  • Add chopped tomatoes, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt, ginger-garlic paste.
  • Add water, mix it well. Close the lid of a pressure cooker.
  • Pressure cook on high flame for one whistle, then keep the flame low and cook for another 5-6 minutes.
  • Open cooker and cook for 3-4 minutes on a medium flame with keep stirring with spatula.
  • Add fried chicken in the cooker, cook it on a low flame for another 6-7 minute or till oil shows separately.
  • Keep stirring to avoid burning.
  • Add the ground paste and garam masala powder. Cook it on a low flame till oil shows separately.
  • Keep stirring in between the process to avoid burning the spices.

  • In a wok/pan, add water and salt. Let it boil. When it comes to boil, add pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes till the pasta cooked properly. Strain it using a strainer.

  • Mix it well. The sauce is getting thick after 1 minute. Then, add fried pasta in the sauce.
  • Add Cheese, milk and mix it well. Cook for 1 more minute, switch off the stove. Serve hot.

In a pan, add butter and saute with chopped garlic and ginger.

Add capsicum and fry for 2-3 minutes on a medium to low flame.

Add boiled pasta.

Add pepper powder, salt, red chili flakes and oregano herbs.

Mix it well, keep it aside.

In a separate wok, add butter and flour. Roast it on a low flame with keep stirring till the flour is light golden in color.

Add milk and keep mixing it to avoid any lumps in the gravy.

Add pepper powder, red chili flakes, oregano herbs and salt.

Mix it well. The sauce is getting thick after 1 minute.

Then, add fried pasta in the sauce.

Add Cheese, milk and mix it well.

Cook for 1 more minute, switch off the stove. Serve hot.

Delicious white sauce pasta is ready to serve.

  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil

  • Keep all the ingredients ready for palak paneer. In a wok, add 1.5-liter water and boil it.
  • Add spinach leaves and boil it for 30 seconds and strain it.
  • Let it cool at the room temperature. Grind the boiled spinach leaves and keep it aside.
  • In a wok, heat the oil and add onion.
  • Fry it till it is light golden in the color. Add ginger-garlic paste, salt, and chopped tomatoes. Cook, it covered on a medium flame for 2-3 minutes or till the tomatoes are mushy.
  • Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala powder. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  • Add ground spinach leaves and mix it well. Cook it on a medium flame for 3-4 minutes or till the raw smell of spinach are gone.
  • Add fenugreek leaves, mix it well.
  • Add paneer cubes, mix it and cook for another one more minutes. Switch off the flame.
  • Put burnt charcoal in aluminum foil at the center, pour 1/2 tsp ghee on it for the smoke.
  • Cover it immediately for 30 seconds to absorbs the essence of coal. Open and remove the coal from the wok. Delicious Palak paneer is ready to serve. Serve hot with chapatti or naan.

  • Add green chili and diced mushroom. Fry it for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add broccoli and cook for another 1 minute.
  • Add chopped tomato, pepper powder, and salt and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • Switch off the flame. Transfer it in a bowl.
  • Heat the oil in a flat tawa. Pour the egg mixture.
  • Cook it on low heat till it is light golden in the color from the back side or tills it is properly cooked.
  • Put stuffing on half side of the egg and fold it. The delicious stuffed egg is ready to serve. Serve hot.

Keep all the ingredients ready for stuffed egg.

Pour egg in a mixing bowl.

Add egg white in the bowl.

Add black pepper, salt and mix it well.

In a pan/wok add oil and heat it. Saute with ginger and garlic.

Add onion and fry it for 30 seconds or till it is translucent.

Add green chili and diced mushroom. Fry it for 1-2 minutes.

Add broccoli and cook for another 1 minute.

Add chopped tomato, pepper powder, and salt and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Switch off the flame. Transfer it in a bowl.

Heat the oil in a flat tawa.

Pour the egg mixture.

Cook it on low heat till it is light golden in the color from the back side or tills it is properly cooked.

Put stuffing on half side of the egg and fold it.

Ingredients

  • 1 finely chopped Capsicum
  • 2 cup chopped Cabbage
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped Carrots
  • 2 tbsp chopped Garlic
  • 1 tbsp chopped Ginger
  • 1 medium chopped Onion
  • 1/2 cup, crushed Paneer
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Vinegar
  • 2, chopped Green chili
  • 1.5 cup Al purpose flour
  • 1/8 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • to knead the flour Water

Instructions

  • Keep all the ingredients ready for filling.

  • Take the lemon size ball from the dough, dust with flour and roll it into a circle of 3-4 inches in diameter. Apply water from all the sides of the circle.
  • Put 1 tbsp filling in the center of the circle.
  • Fold it in a way as shown below in the image. (You can refer video for shaping the momos)
  • The momos are done. Do the same with the rest of the dough. All the momos are prepared for steam.
  • Steam cook it for 4- 6 minutes,
  • The momos are ready to serve. Serve hot with red chili sauce.

But with their increase in availability has decreased its quality. I rarely find Momos that are delicious, In fact, I can count on my fingers the places where I can get tasty momos.

So, I’ve started making them myself at home since the last few years, and I am, in fact, pretty good at it.

I am sharing my recipe of Delicious Momos today. Check out the step by step instructions below to prepare the most delicious Momos you will have in a long time.

  • Keep all the ingredients ready for Naan. In a mixing bowl, add all purpose flour, baking powder, cooking soda, sugar, vegetable oil, and salt. Mix it well with your hand. Add water and knead the flour well to make a soft dough. Cover it with a muslin cloth and keep it aside for 4-5 hours.
  • Divide the dough into 4 equal portions. Take one portion of the dough.
  • Dust with some flour, and roll it into a circle of 7-8 inches in thick diameter with the help of rolling pin.
  • Sprinkle some nigella seeds and coriander leaves on the table.
  • Apply water on one side of the chapatti and put it on the table (in which you sprinkle the seeds and coriander leaves) and roll it again. (So that the seeds and leaves stick to the chapatti on the back sides.

  • The Naan is ready to cook. Do the same with the rest of the dough.
  • Put the naan on the hot tawa. You will notice some puffs appear after 1-2 minutes.
  • Flip it over on the other sides. Put some butter cubes, The Naan is ready to serve.
  • You can also make it on the gas stove. Apply water on the back sides of the naan and put it on the hot tawa. Flip the Tawa and cook it on the direct flame till puff appears. (Refer the video for more description)

  • Add onion. Fry it till it is dark golden brown in the color.
  • Add baby potatoes in the pan. Cook it on a medium flame for 2-3 minutes. Keep stirring in between the cooking process to avoid the spices from burning.
  • Cook, it covered for another 4-5 minutes on a low flame till the potatoes are properly cooked and show oil separately. Open and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
