Presenting the recipe of Samosa in a completely different look. We picked India’s most popular snack, the Samosa, and tried to give it an interesting look.

If you have gotten bored eating the same triangular Samosa, it’s time to try these Rose Samosa. They are prepared in a way to look like a Rose.

It may sound simple, but it does require some skills to make Rose shaped samosa and actually fry them to perfection. We just got succeeded.

And now, you can do it too, simply follow the recipe below.

Rose Samosa

Ingredients

Ingredients for Filling

  • 1 Cup Potato Boiled, Peeled Mashed
  • 1/2 Cup Paneer, Grated
  • 3 Green Chilli, Chopped
  • 3 tbsp Coriander Leaves, Chopped
  • 1 tbsp Garlic, Chopped
  • 1 tsp Ginger, Chopped
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin Powder

Ingredients for Dough

  • 2 Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Black Seeds (Kaloji)
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Vegetable Oil for frying
  • Water to knead the dough

Instructions

  • Keep all the ingredients ready mentioned above in the table.
  • Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl
  • Mix it well. The filling is ready. In a separate bowl, add flour, black seeds, vegetable oil and salt. Mix it well.
  • Add water to make a smooth dough
  • Divide dough into 5 equal parts
  • Take one portion of the dough and divide into 3 parts (lemon size ball).
  • Take a lemon size ball and roll it like a puri as shown below in the image
  •  Do the same as mentioned in the image
  • Apply water on one side of the rolled puri and put another one. do the same with the another one.
  • Put filling in the center of the rolled puri and fold it
  • Roll it from the sides as shown below in the image
  • Apply water at the end and seal it to make sure that it won't open while frying
  • Do the same with the rest of the dough. you can see a beautiful rose samosa is ready for deep frying.
  • You can make it in a different way. Take small portion of the dough and roll it like a chapatti and cut it from the sides.
  • Fold it as shown in the image
  • Put the filling in the center of the dough. fold it.
  •  Follow the image as shown.
  • here, another shape of samosa is ready.
  • Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry it on a low flame till it is light golden in color
  • The samosa is ready, you can enjoy it with your favorite sauce and chatni.

Ingredients for the filling:
