Ingredients

  • 2 cup Mashed potatoes
  • 1 tbsp Chickpea flour
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 1 Tomato chopped
  • 2 tbsp chopped Coriander leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 cup grated paneer
  • 1/2 Onion chopped
  • 1/2 Tomato chopped
  • 1 tbsp chopped Coriander leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • Water to knead the dough
  • 1/4 cup Tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, add mashed potatoes, chickpea flour, onion, tomato, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander leaves, and salt.
  • Mix it well, and keep it aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, add grated paneer, onion, tomato, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander leaves, and salt.
  • Mix it well, and keep it aside.
  • In a separate bowl, add all-purpose flour. Add water and knead the flour well to make the dough.
  • Cover it with a muslin cloth and keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  • Take a lemon size ball from the dough, dust with some flour and roll it into a thin circle of 8-9 inches in diameter.
  • Put the rolled chapatti on Tawa.
  • Apply potato mixture on the top sides of the chapatti using your hand as shown below in the image.
  • Sprinkle some oil on potato mixture.
  • Flip it using a spatula.
  • Cook it from the backsides on a medium to low flame till the base is light golden in color. Spread some sauce on the other sides.
  • Put the paneer mixture on the half sides of the paratha.
  • Fold in using a spatula. Delicious Mughlai Paratha is ready to serve. Serve hot with your favorite dip.

Ingredients

  • 5 Bread slice
  • 1/2 litre Milk
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • for deep frying bread Ghee
  • 2 Cardamom green
  • 8-10 strands Saffron
  • for garnish PIstachio
  • for garnish Cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon Rose water

Steps

Take the sandwich bread and cut it into a triangle shape.

Heat oil in a wok and deep fry the bread slices on a medium flame till it is light golden in color.

Take out the fried bread on a tissue paper towel to get rid of an extra oil.

In a pan, add milk, cardamom green, and sugar. Let it boil for 2-3 minutes.

(dissolve saffron in 2 tbsp milk in advance) Add saffron to the milk.

Let it boil for another 4-5 minutes. (if you want, can add a pinch of food color).

Set the bread pieces in a thal as shown below in the image.

Add warm milk-sugar mixture and keep it aside for 30 minutes to absorbs the syrup.

Some of the sugars are absorbed by the bread.

Garnish with cream and pistachio. Keep it in a fridge and serve chilled for better taste.

Steps

Heat butter on a Tawa and fry onion.

Add ginger-garlic and saute for a second. Add capsicum and fry for another few minutes on a medium to low flame.

Add tomato puree, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt and pav bhaji masala. Cook the spices on a medium to low flame for 4-5 minutes.

Add paneer slices, mix it well.

Add water and fenugreek leaves, mix it well.

Cook for 2-3 minutes on a medium flame till it dries up.

Delicious paneer Tawa masala is ready to serve, Serve hot with puri or chapattis.

Heat oil in a pan and saute with chopped ginger and garlic.

Add onion and fry till it is translucent in the color.

Add chopped beans and capsicum. Fry for another few minutes. Add salt and pepper powder.

Add grated paneer.

Add red chili flakes and oregano herbs. Mix it well. Switch off the stove. Keep it aside.

In a mixing bowl, add all purpose flour, baking powder, salt and vegetable oil. Mix it well. Add water and knead the flour well to make soft and stiff dough.

The dough is ready, cover it with a muslin cloth and keep it aside for 10 minutes.

Take a lemon size ball from the dough and roll it into a chapatti as shown below in the image. (you can watch video for better understanding) Cut from the sides to make it a square shape. Cut it into the half.

Spread pizza sauce on one of the pieces and put prepared stuffing in the center. The put some mozzarella cheese.

Cover it with the another half. Make a design using a fork from all the sides. Do the same with the rest of the dough.

Deep fry it on a low flame till it is light golden from both the sides. Delicious paneer pockets are ready to serve. Serve hot with your favourite sauce and mayonnaise.

  • 1-1/4 cup All purpose flour
  • 1 cup (240 ml) Yogurt
  • 3/4 cup (150 grams) Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 3 tbsp Corn flour
  • 1/4 cup (30 grams) Cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda

Steps

In a mixing bowl, add all purpose flour, baking powder, corn flour, cocoa powder and baking soda.

Mix it well and keep it aside.

In a separate mixing bowl, add yogurt sugar and vanilla extract. Mix it well.

Add vegetable oil and mix it again.

Add liquid mixture to the dry mixture.

The muffins batter are ready. Preheat microwave oven at 180C.

Grease baking molds with oil and pours the batter into each mold. Bake it in a pre-heated oven at 180C for 20 minutes. The delicious muffins are ready to serve.

  • 1.5 cup Chickpea flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon Asafoetida
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red chili powder

  • for deep frying and greasing the mold Vegetable oil

Steps

In a mixing bowl, add chickpea flour, asafoetida, red chili powder, turmeric powder and salt. Mix it well.

Add water and knead the flour well to make stiff dough.

The dough is ready.

Divide the dough into 2 equal portions. Take one portion of the dough and roll it using your palm and put it in the sev mold. (refer video)

press the sev maker directly in the hot oil in a circular motion as shown below in the image.

Deep fry it on a medium to low flame till it is light golden and crisp.

Take out the fried sev on a tissue paper to get rid of an extra oil.

Crush it using your hands. Put it in a airtight container and enjoy it with your tea.

Delicious Mumbai Style Ragda Patties at Home

Radga patties are quite a popular street food from Maharashtra. But you will usually find in most of the cities in India.

Even though I enjoy the Indian street food a lot and it is okay to enjoy it once in a while, I still prefer having them cooked at home because of the hygiene purpose.

So, I am posting its recipe of Foodtippr for you guys, so that you too can prepare it at your home with all the cleanliness and hygiene.

Also, when you know the recipe of something, you don;t have to hunt for it in the city when you are craving for it. Follow the step by step process of making delicious Radga Patties at home and enjoy with friend and family.

Preparation Time:  40 Minutes

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Dried peas (safed matar)
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chat masala
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves
  • 3 tbsp Tamarind chutney
  • 1 tbsp Green chutney
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Sev
  • 1 cup Potato
  • 1/2 cup Flattened rice washed1
  • 3 cup Water
  • 1 Tomato, chopped

Steps

In a pressure cooker, add soaked dried peas, water, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt.

Close the lid of a pressure cooker and pressure cook it on a high heat for one whistle then keep the flame low and cook for 5-6 minutes. Switch off the stove.

In a mixing bowl, add mashed potato and washed flattened rice.

Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix it well.

Make small tikis from the mixture.

Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and shallow fry it on medium to low flame till it is golden and crisp.

When one of the sides are golden, flip it and cook from the other sides.

Keep other ingredients ready for decorating. Transfer the cooked peas in a bowl and mix it well.

All the ingredients are ready for plating.

In a serving plate, put 2-3 tbsp cooked peas, then 2 tikis, sprinkle spices, chutneys, onion, tomato, and sev.

Delicious ragda patties are ready to serve.

Pressure Cooker Cake | Baking in Pressure Cooker

Wanna make this cake and eat it too? don’t have an Oven?

Well, NO PROBLEM.

This Cake is baked in a Pressure Cooker,

Yes, like we baked Pizza in a pressure cooker, we tried baking a cake too and it turned out pretty amazing. Tastes so delicious that if you don’t tell you that it’s made in a Pressure cooker, you will never find out the difference just by taking it.

And it looks good too. isn’t it?

Follow the step by step process mentioned below and prepare this delicious cake without an oven, in your pressure cooker. I am sure you must be having a pressure cooker for this.

Preparation Time:  55 Minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup All purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
  • 2 tbsp Tuity fruity cherry
  • 2 egg white Egg white
  • 150 ml Milk
  • 1 Baking mold

Steps

In a mixing bowl, add tuity fruity cherry and 2 tbsp all purpose flour.

Mix it well and keep it aside.

In a separate mixing bowl, add egg white, sugar, vegetable oil and vanilla essence. Mix it well till the mixture is frothy.

Add milk and mix it well till sugar dissolves completely. Keep it aside.

In a separate bowl, add all purpose flour, baking powder, salt and vanilla extract. Mix it well. Add liquid mixture to the dry mixture and mix it well.

Add tutty fruity cherry and mix it well.

Grease the baking mold and pour the batter into the mold.

Put small stand in the cooker and put the mold on the stand.

Remove the lid of a pressure cook. Close the cooker and cook it on a high flame for 5 minutes.

Then keep the flame low and cook for 40 minutes. Switch of the flame.

Open cooker, the beautifully baked cake is ready.

Let it cool at the room temperature. Transfer it to a plate.

Delicious cake is ready.

Decorate with some powdered sugar. (optional)

Cut it into a piece and enjoy.

  • 300 gram Paneer
  • 2 tbsp Grated paneer
  • 2 chopped Onion
  • 3 chopped Tomato
  • 8 Cashew nuts
  • 7 Garlic
  • 1/4 inch piece Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon crushed Fenugreek leaves
  • 100 ml Water
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chili flakes

For now, here are the instructions below to make this delicious Paneer Lababdar.

Steps

in a wok/pan, add 1 glass of water.

Add garlic, cashew nuts, and chopped tomatoes. Bring it to boil. Cook for 4-5 minutes on a medium flame.

Switch off the heat. Strain it using a strainer. Let it cool at the room temperature. Add boiled tomatoes-garlic-cashew nuts in a grinder. Keep it aside.

Heat oil in a pan. Temper with cumin seeds, bay leaf, and cardamom green.

Add chopped onion and fry till it is translucent in color.

Switch off the heat.

Add the fried onion in a grinder and also add, turmeric powder, red chili flakes, and cumin powder. Grind it to make a fine paste.

The paste is ready.

Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok/kadai and add the ground paste and salt.

Cook covered on a medium flame for 4-5 minutes. Add fenugreek leaves and cook for another 2-3 minutes till oil shows separately and the gravy is thick.

Add paneer pieces.

Grate some paneer.

Cook covered for another 1-2 minutes. Switch off the heat. Delicious paneer Lababdar is ready to serve. Serve hot with Naan or rumali roti.

In the same pan, add 1 teaspoon butter and crack an egg. Cook it on a low flame for 1 minutes. Sprinkle some salt and pepper powder. Transfer it in to a serving plate.

Delicious poached egg is ready to serve. Serve hot.

Potato Stuffed Bread Vada Recipe

Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder and green chili powder. Add 20 ml water and salt. Mix it well.

Add mashed potato.

Add chopped coriander leaves. Mix it well. The stuffing is ready.

Let it cool at the room temperature. Divide the mixture in 8-10 equal portions.

Cut the brown part of the bread and dip it in the water. Put the rolled potato mixture in the center of the bread and close it using your palm.

Steps

Add all the ingredients in a mixing bowl mentioned above in the table “ingredients for paneer marination” and mix it well. Keep it aside for 15 minutes.

Heat oil in a wok and add onion. Fry till it is translucent in color.

Add chopped tomato, green chili, red chili powder, almonds, cashew nuts, salt, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, cumin seeds and bay leaf. Fry it for 3-4 minutes or till the tomato is mushy.

Switch off the stove. Let it cool at the room temperature. Take the cooled mixture in a grinder and grind it to make fine paste.

Heat butter in a separate pan and add marinated paneer.

Fry it for 3-4 minutes till it dries up. Keep it aside.

Heat wok with butter and add ground paste and curd. Cook it on a medium to low flame till butter shows separately.

Add cream and mix it well.

Add fried paneer, mix it well.

Cook covered for 2-3 minutes before serving. Delicious butter masala paneer is ready to serve. Serve hot.

  • 2 tbsp small pieces Paneer

Steps

In a wok, add water, salt and vegetable oil. Bring it to boil, then add noodles.

Cook it on a high flame for 7-8 minutes or till the noodles cook properly. Strain it using a strainer.

In a separate wok, add vegetable oil and saute with chopped garlic.

Then add onion, fry it for 1-2 minutes. Add capsicum, carrot, and cabbage. Cook the veggies on a medium to high flame for 2-3 minutes.

Add chopped green chili and boiled noodles.

Add pepper powder, red chili flakes, Azinomoto, salt, soy sauce, and vinegar. Mix it well, cook it on a high flame for 1-2 minutes.

Add paneer cubes, mix well. Delicious Veg noodles are ready to serve. Serve hot.

Heat oil in a wok and put handful of batter. Deep fry 8-10 at a time.

Fry it on a low flame till it is very light golden in color.

Switch off the stove,

Take out the fried vada on a tissue paper to get rid of an extra oil.

In a separate wok/pan add 500 ml water and 1 teaspoon salt. Bring it to boil. Switch off the stove.

Add 4 vada in the hot water and take it out from the water after 30 seconds. Let it cool at the room temperature.

Add sugar in a yogurt and mix it well.

Put the cooled vada on a serving plate and pour yogurt.

Sprinkle red chili powder, cumin powder, and salt. Pour tamarind chutney and garnish with coriander

Ingredients

1.5 cup All purpose flour
1/2 cup Curd
2 tbsp + for deep frying Vegetable oil
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Baking powder (optional)
to knead the flour Water

Steps

Add all purpose flour, curd, salt, baking powder and 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a mixing bowl.

Mix it well.

Add small amount of water and knead the flour to make soft dough.

The dough is ready now.

Cover the dough with wet muslin cloth. Let it rest for 30 minutes.

Take small portion of the dough (like a big size lemon).

Dust with flour and roll it like a thick chapatti into a circle of 5-6 inches in diameter.

Now, it is ready for deep frying.

Put it in the hot oil and cook it on a medium flame till it puffs and both the sides are light golden in color.

When one of the sides are light golden flip it and cook from the other sides. Take out the fried puris on a tissue paper to get rid of a extra oil. Do the same with the rest of the dough. Delicious puri is ready to serve, Serve hot with chola or with any curry and vegetables.

  • 4 Onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste

  • 100 ml Water
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp1 Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder

  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 10 Black pepper
  • 3 Cloves
  • 4 Cardamom green
  • 1/4 inch piece Cinnamon stick
  • 1/8 of a piece Nutmeg
  • 1/2 flower Mace
  • 8 Cashew nuts
  • 1 inch piece Coconut

Ingredients for rice

  • 2 cup, soaked Basmati rice
  • 1.5 litre Water
  • 3 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 2 Cloves
  • 2 Cardamom green
  • 2 Cardamom brown
  • 2 Bay leaf
  • 1 inch piece Cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper

 

  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves
  • 2 tbsp Yogurt
  • 10 Cashew nuts fried
  • 10 Almonds fried
  • 1/2 cup Onion fried
  • a pinch Food color
  • 3 tbsp Kewra water

Steps

In a mixing bowl, add washed chicken, yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix it well and keep aside for 30 minutes for marination.

In a pressure cooker, add oil and saute with onion, bay leaf, and cinnamon stick. Fry till the onions are translucent in color.

Add chopped tomatoes, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt, and water.

Cover and pressure cook it on a high flame for one whistle then keep the flame low and cook for another 5-6 minutes.

Open cooker, now the spices are ready. keep it aside.

In a separate wok, add oil and add marinated chicken. fry it for 5-6 minutes till oil shows separately.

The chicken is fried.

In the pressure cooker (in which you have cooked onion-tomato mixture) add fried chicken. Mix it well and cook it on a low flame for 7-8 minutes till oil shows separately. keep stirring in between the process.

Grind all the ingredients given in the table above ” ingredients for grind”. Add ground ingredients to the pressure cooker, mix and cook for another 5-6 minutes on low flame. Add 50 ml water, mix and pressure cook it for one whistle on a high flame. switch off the stove. The chicken is ready for layering rice.

In a wok, add water, salt, cumin seeds, black pepper, bay leaf, cardamom green, cardamom brown and cinnamon stick. Bring it to a boil.

Add soaked rice. Let it cook till the rice cook properly.

Strain the water using a strainer.

Now, both chicken and rice are ready for layering. In a big wok, add yogurt.

Add a layer of strained rice, then cooked chicken, coriander leaves, fried almonds, onion, and cashew nuts and rest of the rice.

Add some more coriander leaves, fried onion, almonds and cashew nuts and (kewra+food color). Cook covered for another 8-10 minutes.

Delicious chicken biryani is ready to serve.
