Preparation Time:  20 Minutes

Serves 2

Ingredients

1 cup Potato (boiled and mashed)
1 tbsp Vegetable oil
2 tbsp Tamarind chutney
1/4 cup Yogurt
1/2 teaspoon Red chili flakes
1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder
2 Green chili
to taste Salt
for garnish Coriander leaves
1/2 teaspoon Ginger grated

Steps

Add mashed potato and salt in a bowl. Mix it well and make a tikki as shown below in the image.

Make tikki using your palm.

Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry it.

Flip it from other sides when one of the sides are golden in color. Switch off the heat. Transfer it on a tissue paper to get rid of a extra oil.

Keep all the ingredients ready for garnish and topping.

In a serving plate, add 2 tikkis, sprinkle spices, pour yogurt and tamarind chutney.

Garnish with some chopped chili and coriander leaves. Delicious Aloo tikki is ready to serve, Serve hot.
