Shahi Tukda is, as the name suggests, a Royal treat to those who have got a sweet tooth and is alway looking to consume something sweet after their meals.

Ingredients
- 5 Bread slice
- 1/2 litre Milk
- 1 cup Sugar
- for deep frying bread Ghee
- 2 Cardamom green
- 8-10 strands Saffron
- for garnish PIstachio
- for garnish Cream
- 1/2 teaspoon Rose water

Steps
Take the sandwich bread and cut it into a triangle shape.
Heat oil in a wok and deep fry the bread slices on a medium flame till it is light golden in color.
Take out the fried bread on a tissue paper towel to get rid of an extra oil.
In a pan, add milk, cardamom green, and sugar. Let it boil for 2-3 minutes.
(dissolve saffron in 2 tbsp milk in advance) Add saffron to the milk.
Let it boil for another 4-5 minutes. (if you want, can add a pinch of food color).
Set the bread pieces in a thal as shown below in the image.
Add warm milk-sugar mixture and keep it aside for 30 minutes to absorbs the syrup.
Some of the sugars are absorbed by the bread.
Garnish with cream and pistachio. Keep it in a fridge and serve chilled for better taste.
