Delicious Gajar Halwa Recipe
Ingredients
- 8-10 1/2 kg Carrots
- 1 &1/2 cup Milk
- 1 &1/2 cup Sugar
- grated for topping Cashew & Almonds
- 2-3 Cloves
- 2-3 Cardamom green
- 2 tbsp Ghee
- 200 grams Khoya/Mava
Instructions
- Wash and peel off the skin of carrots.
- Cut the carrots half inch each side.
- Grate the carrots.
- All the carrots grated.
- In a wok, add ghee.
- Temper with cardamom green and cloves.
- Add grated carrots and fry it for 1-2 minutes.
- Add milk and cook it on a medium flame till the milk dries up.
- Add sugar, mix it well.
- Cook it on a medium heat till the carrot dries up completely . Keep stirring in between the cooking.
- Add khoya/Mava, mix it well. Cook it for another 1-2 minutes. Add chopped dry fruits.
- Switch off the flame. Delicious Gajar Halva is ready to serve. Serve hot.

Steps
