Today, we are going to share a snacks recipe that is a regional speciality from the state of Karnataka in India. The Name Maddu Vada is actually derived from one of the town names of Karnataka.

Maddur town, which is the origin of this delicious snack, lies between of city of Bangalore and Mysore.

This delicious snack is sold in the trains passing through that route, but thanks to the Internet, people living in any corner of the world can now experience the taste of such recipes by simply preparing it themselves.

INGREDIENTS

  • RICE FLOUR- 1 CUP
  • SEMOLINA- 1/2 CUP
  • ALL PURPOSE FLOUR- 1 CUP
  • FENUGREEK LEAVES- 1 TBSP
  • GREEN CHILI- 2 CHOPPED
  • ONION CHOPPED- 1
  • ASAFOETIDA-1/8 TEASPOON
  • RED CHILI POWDER- 1 TEASPOON
  • SALT- TO TASTE
  • VEGETABLE OIL- 2 TBSP
  • WATER- TO KNEAD DOUGH
