This is a restaurant-style chili potato I had a little while ago, guessed all the ingredients to replicate the taste.
And surprisingly it came out so well that I’m liking it even more.

Crispy Honey Chilli Potato Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 liter Water
- 2 cup cut into thin slices Potato
- 2 tbsp Cornflour
- for deep frying vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp chopped Garlic
- 2 tbsp chopped Capsicum
- 1/4 teaspoon Red chili flakes
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- to taste salt
- 3 tbsp Honey
- 2 tbsp chopped Coriander leaves
- 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a wok add water and potato pieces. Let it boil for 6-7 minutes on a medium to high flame.
- Take out the boiled potato in a bowl and keep it in a freezer for 1 hour.
- Now, the potato is cooled.
- Add cornflour and mix it well.
- Deep fry it on a high flame till it is golden and crisp.
- Take out the fried potato pieces on a tissue paper to get rid of extra oil.
- In a wok/pan, add vegetable oil. Saute with chopped garlic.
- Add capsicum, and cook for 1 minute. Add red chili flakes, salt, sweet chili sauce, coriander leaves, and honey. Mix it well.
- Add fried potato and mix it well. Add sesame seeds.
- Mix it well and cook for 1 minute. Serve hot.
Steps
