Of all the Chinese Recipes, Noodles are quite popular in India, in fact, the can be classified in a separate segment of Indo Chinese Recipes.

The Chilli Garlic Noodles, as the name suggests, is the spicy noodle, though you can choose how much spicy you want, they taste awesome like that.

It can be had without any gravy since it’s spicy and has veggies in it as well.

Ingredients

Ingredients for chili garlic paste

  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Carrot, chopped
  • 50 Ml Water
  • 6-7 Whole dry red chili
  • 7-8 Whole garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp dissolved in 2 tbsp water Corn flour1
  • to taste Salt

Ingredients for Noodles

  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic, chopped
  • 2 cup Noodles, boiled
  • 1 cup Cabbage
  • 1/4 cup Carrot , thinly slice
  • 1/4 cup Capsicum, thinly slice
  • 1 Onion, thinly slice
  • 1/2 cup Sweet corn
  • 1 teaspoon Soya sauce
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • to taste Salt

Steps

In a wok, add water, whole dry red chili, and garlic. Let it boil for 4-5 minutes. Switch off the heat and cool it at the room temperature.

Grind the boiled garlic and chili to make a fine paste.

In a separate wok, add vegetable oil and saute with chopped garlic. add onion and fry till it is translucent in color.

Add carrot, salt and ground chili-garlic paste and water, mix it well. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes.

Dissolve 1 tbsp corn flour in 2 tbsp water and mix it well. Add it to the wok and cook for 30 seconds. Switch off the heat and keep it aside.

In a separate wok, add vegetable oil and saute with chopped garlic.

Add onion and fry it for 30 seconds. Add capsicum, carrot and sweet corn. cook for 2-3 minutes on a high heat.

Add cabbage and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add soya sauce, salt, noodles, vinegar and chili garlic paste. Mix it well.

Cook for one minute on a high flame. Switch off the heat. Delicious chili garlic noodles are ready to serve.
