Here is a treat for vegetarian lovers, the delicious Chhola Masala Recipe, I got to taste it the other day, I loved it and promised myself that I’ll be cooking it for myself and the blog as well.

INGREDIENTS FOR CHOLA MASALA

  • CHOLA (GARBANJO BEAN) 1.5 CUP
  • VEGETABLE OIL- 1/2 CUP
  • CUMIN SEEDS- 1 TEASPOON
  • CINNAMON STICK-1/2 INCH PIECE
  • CARDAMOM GREEN- 2
  • CARDAMOM BROWN-1
  • MACE- 1/2 FLOWER
  • ONION- 3 DICED
  • GARLIC- 10 CLOVES
  • GINGER-1/2 INCH PIECE
  • TOMATO PUREE- 1 CUP
  • TURMERIC POWDER-1/2 TEASPOON
  • RED CHILI POWDER-1 TEASPOON
  • CORIANDER POWDER- 1 TEASPOON
  • GROUND CHANA- 2 TBSP
  • ANARDANA (1 TEASPOON)
  • CHOLA MASALA- 1 TEASPOON (EVEREST BRAND)
  • GARAM MASALA-1/2 TEASPOON
  • WATER- 3 CUP
