- 2 cup Flattened rice
- 7-8 Curry leaves
- 3/4 cup Peanuts
- 1 medium size Onion
- 1 tbsp Coriander leaves
- 1/4 cup Vegetable oil
- 2-3 Green chili
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp Fennel seeds
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
- to taste Salt
Keep all the ingredients ready for poha. In a wok, heat oil and temper with mustard, cumin and fennel seeds, & Curry leaves.
When the seeds start crackling add peanuts. Roast it on a low flame till it is light golden in color. Keep stirring.
Add onion and fry it for 1 minute.
Add turmeric powder and green chili. Cook for another 30 seconds.
Add washed Poha and salt. Mix it well. Cook for 2-3 minutes on a medium flame.
Add chopped coriander leaves, Delicious poha is ready to serve. Serve hot.
