Potato Curry /Potato Masala

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 2 tbsp chopped Coriander leaves
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 medium size Onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 cup Curd
  • 14-15 half boiled Baby potatoes

Instructions

  • Keep all the ingredients ready for spicy potato.
  • In a mixing bowl, add curd. Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, garam masala powder and coriander powder.
  • Mix it well and keep it aside.
  • Take the baby potatoes and prick each of them using a fork.
  • Now, add the baby potatoes in the marination and mix it well.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add onion. Fry it till it is dark golden brown in the color.
  • Add baby potatoes in the pan. Cook it on a medium flame for 2-3 minutes. Keep stirring in between the cooking process to avoid the spices from burning.
  • Cook, it covered for another 4-5 minutes on a low flame till the potatoes are properly cooked and show oil separately. Open and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  • Delicious spicy potato is ready to serve. Serve hot with puris.
